Bathing the young prince Siddharta Gautama is one of the most important activities on Vesak, the holiest day for Buddhism that marks the Birth, Death and Enlightenment of Gautama Buddha. Thousands of devotee will throng the temples, queueing up for a few hours just to get the chance to bath the young prince statue with perfumed water.
